Air ambulance lands after 'medical incident' at Plymouth Life Centre

The air ambulance landed in Central Park this afternoon following a 'medical incident'.

A person became unwell at the Plymouth Life Centre and was rushed to Derriford Hospital by land ambulance.

Two land ambulances, the Devon Air Ambulance, an operations officer, and a first responder attended the incident.

A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service told Plymouth Plus:

"We were called at 11:11hrs on Wednesday 03 December to a medical incident in Plymouth.
"We sent two double-crewed land ambulances, an air ambulance, an operations officer, and a first responder to the scene.
"We conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Derriford Hospital.”
