A major police response has shut Taunton Avenue in Whitleigh, Plymouth this evening (Sunday, 22 June), with multiple emergency services at the scene.
The road is now closed in both directions, with officers redirecting traffic and turning vehicles away at both ends of the street.
There is a significant police presence, with at least two ambulances and an ambulance operational officer attending the incident.
The Cornwall Air Ambulance attended but has since been stood down and departed the scene, retuning to their base.
The emergency response is centred around a property on Taunton Avenue.
