Emergency services were called to Victoria Park in Plymouth on the morning of 9 June after an air ambulance landed in the popular Millbridge green space.
The Devon Air Ambulance touched down shortly after 9.30 am, drawing attention from park-goers and residents in the nearby Stonehouse and Millbridge areas.
Witnesses reported a large emergency response, with ambulance vehicles arriving quickly at the scene.
It was later confirmed that the air ambulance had been called to a medical emergency at a residential property on Molesworth Road in Stoke, which is close to Victoria Park.
Paramedics provided critical care at the scene before the patient was conveyed to Derriford Hospital by land ambulance.
Victoria Park, a well-loved community space, remained busy with onlookers as emergency crews attended the scene. One person was taken to hospital by land ambulance as a result of the incident.
