# Armed police storm Plymouth street after ‘fight involving group of people’ breaks out

Armed police have descended on a Plymouth street after reports of a fight involving two groups of males.

Police were called to the [Prince Rock](https://www.plymouthplus.co.uk/tag/prince-rock/) area following concerns raised by members of the public, with armed officers deployed to Mainstone Avenue as a result. 

A suspect has since been arrested and there is not believed to be any wider risk to the public.
