A crash has partially blocked a busy Plymouth road this evening as surface water creates hazardous driving conditions across the city.
The collision happened on Outland Road, close to the crossroads by the Britannia Inn. One of the vehicles involved is understood to be a red Ford Focus.
No injuries have been reported, but witnesses say traffic is building in the area as recovery teams work to clear the scene.
The road remains open but partially obstructed, and drivers are being urged to take extra care.
Heavy rain tonight has left large areas of standing water across Plymouth, with several motorists reporting reduced visibility and slippery surfaces.
