Devastating scenes have been left behind after a violent incident erupted at a Co-op store in Plymouth.
Police have cordoned off the shop on Wilton Street following the disorder which has left the store with significant damage.
The glass front door of the premises was smashed along with multiple wine bottles.
Numerous items within the store have been removed from the shelves and discarded across the floor.
Locals reported seeing a significant emergency response in the area this evening, with armed police and paramedics said to have attended.
