A person has been rescued from rocks at Plymouth Hoe following reports they had become stuck after being in the water, Plymouth Plus can confirm.
HM Coastguard received the emergency call at 10.10pm on Sunday evening, immediately triggering a multi-agency response to the popular waterfront location.
Plymouth RNLI lifeboat was quickly deployed to the scene, working alongside Coastguard Rescue Teams from both Yealm and Plymouth in the coordinated rescue effort.
The casualty was successfully located by the lifeboat crew, with one crew member coming ashore to provide immediate medical assistance working alongside coastguard personnel.

Following the rescue, the casualty was transferred to the care of South Western Ambulance Service for onward medical treatment.
The incident highlights the ongoing dangers around Plymouth's coastal waters, particularly during evening hours when visibility is reduced.
Plymouth Hoe remains a popular destination for both residents and visitors, but the rocky shoreline and tidal conditions can pose significant risks to those entering the water.
Both RNLI and Coastguard services responded swiftly to Sunday evening's emergency, demonstrating the vital importance of the volunteer rescue teams that serve Plymouth's waters.
A spokesperson for HM Coastguard told Plymouth Plus:
"At 10.10pm, HM Coastguard received reports of a person stuck on rocks after being in the water at Plymouth Hoe.
"Plymouth RNLI lifeboat was sent, alongside Coastguard Rescue Teams from Yealm and Plymouth.
"The casualty was located by lifeboat and a crew member came ashore to assist with medical care alongside coastguards.
"The casualty was taken for onward medical care by South Western Ambulance Service."
