Shoppers at Trago Mills in Liskeard were left speechless after Hollywood star John Lithgow appeared as Albus Dumbledore during filming for HBO’s new Harry Potter TV series.

Just when we thought the bargains were magical enough, the car park at the popular Cornish superstore has been transformed into a huge film set filled with production trucks, equipment and tight security.

The 2027 Harry Potter reboot has now moved its filming base 50 miles inland from the Lizard Peninsula, bringing hundreds of cast and crew to the Liskeard site.
