An operational officer from the South Western Ambulance Service attended the scene alongside firefighters from Greenbank, Camels Head, Plymstock, and Crownhill fire stations.

A total of three fire engines, a full Tactical Rescue Team, and an Aerial Ladder Platform (ALP) were swiftly mobilised by Fire Control, along with a Working at Height Tactical Advisor and an Operational Assurance Officer.

Emergency crews coordinated from both the base and top of the cliff, using specialist equipment to reach the teenagers, who were positioned between 5 and 10 metres down the cliff face and around 20 metres high.

Thanks to the combined efforts of all teams, the boys were brought to safety without any injuries.
