# Emergency services descend on Plymouth street after woman climbs onto roof

Emergency services descended on a Plymouth street after a woman climbed onto a roof.

Officers were called out to Brecon Close in Compton on Sunday evening, 30 November.

[Fire](https://www.plymouthplus.co.uk/tag/devon-and-somerset-fire-and-rescue-service/) and [ambulance](https://www.plymouthplus.co.uk/tag/south-western-ambulance-service/) crews also attended to assist at the scene.

Emergency services engaged with the female, and she then came down from the roof.

A spokesperson for [Devon and Cornwall Police ](https://www.plymouthplus.co.uk/tag/devon-and-cornwall-police/)told Plymouth Plus:

> "Police were notified of a concern of welfare of a female on a roof at an address on Brecon Close, Plymouth, yesterday afternoon \[Sunday 30 November\].

> "Police, fire and ambulance attended to assist at the scene.

> "The female was engaged with and came down from the roof."
