# Person taken to hospital after Plymouth house fire

Firefighters were called to a house fire on Bowden Park Road in the Crownhill area of Plymouth on Monday (29 June).

Three fire engines from [Crownhill](https://www.plymouthplus.co.uk/tag/crownhill/) and [Greenbank](https://www.plymouthplus.co.uk/tag/greenbank/) attended after a fire started in the porch area of the property.

Crews used breathing apparatus and hose reel jets to extinguish the fire. One person was taken to [Derriford Hospital](https://www.plymouthplus.co.uk/tag/derriford-hospital/#google%5Fvignette).
