The devastated family of a much loved Plymouth father are appealing for help after his sudden and unexpected death over the weekend.
Chris Weldon, who lived in St Budeaux and was in his 40s, passed away leaving behind heartbroken loved ones who describe him as a 'deeply cherished father, son, partner and friend'.
His sudden death has left those closest to him reeling in grief and struggling to come to terms with the loss of a man who meant so much to so many.

Chris’s family are now raising funds to cover the cost of his funeral and to ensure he receives the dignified and loving farewell he deserves.
A GoFundMe has been launched to support the costs of the service, flowers and arrangements so family and friends can gather to properly celebrate his life.
Writing on the fundraising page, organiser Abi Mills said:
“We are fundraising in memory of deeply cherished Father, Son, Partner and friend, Chris, to help give him the dignified and loving farewell he truly deserves. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help ease the financial burden and ensure Chris is honoured in the way he deserves.”
So far more than £750 has been raised towards a £3,000 target through 23 donations. The family are appealing to the Plymouth community to help them reach their goal and make sure Chris’s life is honoured in the way he would have wanted.
Chris’s death has broken the hearts of those who loved him and left a deep hole in the lives of his family and friends. His loved ones say every donation will go towards ensuring he is remembered with dignity and love.
