Hero police officers in Plymouth acted quickly to bring a girl safely down from a bridge on Crownhill Road late on Saturday night.
Emergency services were called at 10.45pm on 2 August after concern was raised for the welfare of a girl who was reportedly on the wrong side of the railings.
Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed that officers attended and spoke with the girl before safely bringing to safety at around 10.55pm.

A spokesperon for Devon and Cornwall Police told Plymouth Plus:
"Police were called at 10.45pm on Saturday 2 August following concern for the welfare of a girl on a bridge over Crownhill Road in Plymouth.
"The girl was reportedly on the wrong side of the railings.
"Officers attended and spoke with the girl and she was brought safely from the bridge around 10.55pm.
"She was checked by ambulance and returned home with appropriate welfare measures in place."

The girl was assessed by ambulance crews before being returned home with welfare measures in place.
