Huge drugs and £33k cash haul seized in major Plymouth police crackdown

A Plymouth man has been charged with six serious offences after officers from across the country carried out a major operation in the city.

Large numbers of police officers, armed police, forensics and a police dog unit were seen on Rochford Crescent early yesterday morning.

The South West Regional Organised Crime Unit worked alongside Devon and Cornwall Police in the operation.

Warrants were executed at properties in the Ernesettle and Southway areas of Plymouth as part of a crackdown on suspected drug supply.

Ryan Board, aged 30, of Rochford Crescent, appeared at Plymouth Magistrates’ Court today, Thursday 26 February, charged with the following offences:

  • Possession with intent to supply cocaine 
  • Possession with intent to supply ketamine 
  • Possession with intent to supply cannabis 
  • Possessing criminal property 
  • Possession of an offensive weapon in private place, namely a knuckleduster  
  • Possession of an offensive weapon in private place, namely a telescopic truncheon   

More than £33,000 in cash, around 260 grams of cannabis, 500 grams of cocaine and more than two kilos of ketamine were seized, along with the weapons.

Board was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Plymouth Crown Court on 26 March 2026.

A woman in her 30s from Plymouth was also arrested as part of the same operation and has been released under investigation.
