Car enthusiasts from across the South West are braving the wet weather tonight as one of Plymouth’s biggest summer car meets gets underway at Marsh Mills Retail Park.
Despite steady rainfall and dark skies, the car park is already filling with high-performance motors, modified rides and classic vehicles as people gather to share their passion for all things automotive.
The meet, which began earlier this evening, has drawn hundreds of attendees with more expected to arrive throughout the night.
Organisers have urged everyone to be respectful and safe. A message shared on the event’s Facebook page reads:
“Please enjoy the meet. Do not do anything that puts others at risk. We want to keep this positive and avoid problems.”
