Approximately 350 people attended a flag march and anti-fascist counter protest in Plymouth this afternoon.
The day began with the two rival groups gathering next to each other outside the Guildhall in Plymouth City Centre.
One man was arrested on suspicion of carrying an offensive weapon.
Devon and Cornwall Police brought in around 50 officers from across the county to help facilitate the peaceful protest.
The Flag Force Plymouth march made its way through parts of town, the Barbican and the Plymouth Hoe.
