‘Knife man’ terrorises Plymouth residents after early hours door knocks

Residents have been left terrified after a man carrying a knife knocked on doors in Plymouth in the early hours of this morning.

The alarming incident unfolded on North Prospect Road at around 3.30am on Thursday, 12 February.

Multiple households have reported that the man approached their properties holding a knife while they were asleep and knocked on their doors, pulling a grimacing, tense facial expression.

As the man has not been charged with any criminal offence, UK media law requires us to blur his face in our coverage.

Devon and Cornwall Police have been conducting door to door enquiries in the area today as part of their investigation.

Officers are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or has relevant CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage to come forward.
