A fire has broken out at a block of flats in Plymouth this evening, sending smoke into the sky above the city.
At least two fire engines are currently at the scene on Valletort Place in the Stonehouse area, where the blaze appears to be affecting the top story of the building.
Crews from Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service are working to bring the fire under control, and emergency services remain in the area.
Residents have been seen gathering outside and nearby roads may be partially blocked while crews respond.
