# Live updates as police urgently hunt for male rape suspect from Plymouth

Devon and Cornwall Police have launched an urgent appeal this evening to find 45-year-old Steven Larratt, who is wanted in connection with an allegation of rape. 

Officers say Larratt has ties to both Plymouth and Torquay and are asking the public to report any sightings immediately.

Larratt is described as white, around 5ft 8in tall, of slim build, with dark brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information is urged to call 999 and quote reference 50250218443\.
