A major air and land search is underway this evening after police issued an urgent appeal to locate a missing man last seen near Hope Cove.
James Throup, 33, was last spotted at around 4.30pm today (Friday 27 June) in the coastal area of South Devon.
Police say they are “concerned for his welfare” and have asked the public to call 999 immediately with any information.
James is described as a white male, approximately 6ft 5in tall, with a ginger beard. He was last seen wearing a navy blue t-shirt and blue chinos.
