A major emergency response is underway in Plymouth this evening after a crash involving a motorcycle and a car.

The [Devon Air Ambulance](https://www.plymouthplus.co.uk/tag/devon-air-ambulance/) landed at the scene in [Plympton](https://www.plymouthplus.co.uk/tag/plympton/), and a significant emergency service response is underway in the area.

Road closures are in place on Boringdon Hill in both directions from Boringdon Hall to the Elfordleigh Hotel.
