# Person saved after major emergency response

A major emergency response unfolded on Laira Bridge in Plymouth early this morning (24 July).

More than 15 emergency service vehicles attened the incident with police, paramedics, firefighters and [HM Coastguard](https://www.plymouthplus.co.uk/tag/hm-coastguard/) all responding. 

Plymouth Plus understands that emergency services have been responding to a concern for welfare incident involving a person on the bridge.
