A major search and rescue operation has been launched in Cornwall this evening amid a report of a ‘person in difficulty in the water’.
The search is underway within the vicinity of Tolcarne Beach in Newquay.
HM Coastguard has deployed a helicopter, two RNLI lifeboats, and the Newquay and Padstow coastguard rescue teams to the shoreline.
