Man arrested after crashing into two cars during A38 police chase in Plymouth

A man has been arrested following a dramatic police pursuit on the A38 in Plymouth last night.

The pursuit ended in a crash on the Forder Valley roundabout involving two other vehicles.

Officers were on patrol at around 8.30pm last night, Sunday, 1 March, when they became aware of a suspicious vehicle.

The vehicle then sped away from officers and drove through red lights before being involved in a collision with two other vehicles near Marsh Mills.

Thankfully, nobody was injured in the collision.

A man in his 30s from Plymouth was arrested on suspicion of failure to stop.

He remains in police custody at this time. A significant number of police vehicles were seen at the scene last night, with the roundabout partially blocked.

The road reopened to traffic at around 2am after the scene of the crash was cleared.
