# Man arrested after domestic incident on Cunningham Road in Tamerton Foliot

Police were called to a late-night domestic disturbance in Tamerton Foliot after reports of an aggressive altercation between a man and a woman.

Emergency services responded to the incident around 11pm on Friday 6 June following a verbal argument inside a residential property on Cunningham Road.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police told Plymouth Plus:

> "Police were called around 11pm on Friday 6 June following a domestic disturbance at a property in Tamerton Foliot.

> "A woman and man were involved in a verbal argument and the man was reportedly acting in an aggressive manner.

> "The woman had also sustained a minor facial injury during the incident.

> "Officers attended.

> "A man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of two counts of common assault. He was later released without charge.

> "The woman does not wish to pursue a complaint at this time."
