Man arrested after Renault crashes into house as Class A drugs seized in Plymouth

Police have arrested a local man on suspicion of dangerous driving and possession with intent to supply a Class A drug after a car crashed into a house on Peverell Park Road.

Officers were called to the incident involving a red Renault Symbioz that came to a stop after hitting the wall of a residential property in Plymouth.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police told Plymouth Plus:

"We were called at around 11.45pm on Thursday 30 October following a report of a single vehicle collision on Peverell Park Road, Plymouth.
"It was reported a vehicle collided with a lamppost.
"Officers attended and arrested a local man in his 40s on suspicion of dangerous driving and possession with intent to supply a Class A drug. He remains in police custody at this time.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
