Man arrested after 'wooden chopping board rampage' outside Plymouth casino

A man has been arrested after allegedly threatening people with wooden chopping in the early hours of this morning.

Police were called at 2.25am on Wednesday, 18 March, after reports of a man with pieces of wood outside Grosvenor Casino on Derrys Cross.

Officers attended the scene, and it was then further reported that a fight had taken place beforehand.

A man in his 30s was located by police and arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of an offensive weapon.

The man remains in custody at Charles Cross Police Station.
