# Man arrested after 'wooden chopping board rampage' outside Plymouth casino

A man has been arrested after allegedly threatening people with wooden chopping boards in the early hours of this morning.

Police were called at 2.25am on Wednesday, 18 March, after reports of a man with pieces of wood outside Grosvenor Casino on Derrys Cross.

Officers attended the scene, and it was then further reported that a fight had taken place beforehand.

A man in his 30s was located by police and arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of an offensive weapon.

The man remains in custody at Charles Cross Police Station.
