Undercover police swooped on a property on Alexandra Road in Plymouth on Thursday afternoon, resulting in a dramatic arrest and the seizure of suspected Class A drugs.
Around five officers in plain clothes detained a man in handcuffs during the planned operation in Mutley. It came after police successfully obtained a Misuse of Drugs Act warrant at Plymouth Magistrates’ Court.

The raid led to the discovery and seizure of suspected Class A substances and the arrest of a man his 30s on suspicion of drugs offences.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police told Plymouth Plus:
"Officers carried out a Misuse of Drugs Act warrant at a residential premises on Alexandra Road in Plymouth on Thursday morning.
"A quantity of suspected Class A drugs were seized.
"A man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of drugs offences and has been released on police bail until 26 September."
