A man has sadly died following a serious emergency response in Saltash this afternoon, 30 September.
The Devon Air Ambulance was sent to the scene alongside one double-crewed land ambulance, an air ambulance, an operations officer, two first responders and a rapid response vehicle.
Despite best efforts, the man was pronounced deceased inside the Saltash property. His death has been reported to Devon and Cornwall Police although is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police told Plymouth Plus:
"We were notified at 1.50pm today, 30 September, following the death of a man in his 70s at an address in Taylor Road, Saltash.
"Ambulance attended.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious."
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said:
“We were called at 12:03hrs on Tuesday 30 September to a medical incident in Saltash.
"We sent one double-crewed land ambulance, an air ambulance an operations officer, two first responders and a rapid response vehicle to the scene.”
