A man has been left hospitalised with serious injuries after falling off a motorbike last night.
Emergency services were called to Tamerton Foliot Road at around 8.30pm on October 1 following reports of a single-vehicle collision involving a motorbike.
Police confirmed the male rider was rushed to hospital with injuries described as serious but not life-changing.
The road was closed for a period while officers dealt with the scene and awaited confirmation of the man’s condition from Derriford Hospital.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police told Plymouth Plus:
"We were called to reports of a single-vehicle road traffic collision involving a motorbike on Tamerton Foliot Road, Plymouth, at around 8.30pm on Wednesday 1 October.
"The male rider of the motorbike was taken to hospital with serious but not life-changing injuries."
