A man has been charged after a woman was allegedly assaulted during a late-night incident in Plymouth.
Police were called to King Street in the Stonehouse area of Plymouth shortly after midnight on Tuesday 15 July following reports that a man had assaulted a woman.
Officers attended and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, breach of a bail condition and witness intimidation.

In an update today, police have confirmed that James Whitehead, 34, of no fixed abode, has now been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, breach of bail conditions, and witness intimidation.
Whitehead has been remanded in custody and will appear before Plymouth Magistrates’ Court today, Wednesday 16 July.
