More than 20 dogs have been seized from a property in Plymouth following a animnal welfare investigation.
Police executed a warrant under the Animal Welfare Act at an address on Torland Road in Hartley.
The dogs were seized following an investigation by Devon and Cornwall Police into the welfare of dogs at the property, supported by the RSPCA.
A local vet checked over the dogs before they were all taken into the care of the RSPCA during the operation last week.
Police have confirmed to Plymouth Plus that enquiries are ongoing in realtion the incident at this time.
