# Person dies after emergency services rush to serious incident in Plymouth

A person has sadly died following a serious incident on Ordnance Street in the Devonport area of Plymouth this evening, Friday 17 October 2025\. 

Emergency services responded in [large numbers](https://www.plymouthplus.co.uk/police-update-after-man-dies-from-building-in-plymouth/#), with detectives, forensic officers, paramedics and numerous police officers attending.

Two ambulances, four police cars and an ambulance car were seen at the scene tonight. [Devon and Cornwall Police](https://www.plymouthplus.co.uk/tag/devon-and-cornwall-police/) have been unavailable for comment this evening.
