A person sadly died on a major road in Plymouth last night, 28 November.
Police and paramedics were called to Laira Bridge Road in Prince Rock following reports of a 'medical incident'.
The Devon Air Ambulance was also deployed, but despite the best efforts of emergency services, the person was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police established a cordon at the scene while they carried out an investigation into the death. It is not yet known whether the death is being treated as suspicious.
Devon and Cornwall Police have been contacted for comment. At this stage, the age and gender of the person has not been confirmed.
