# Person dies after serious incident unfolds near Plymouth Hoe

A person has sadly died following a serious incident near Plymouth Hoe this evening.

Two fire engines, three ambulances, [Devon Air Ambulance](https://www.plymouthplus.co.uk/tag/devon-air-ambulance/) and police responded to the incident. 

[Firefighters](https://www.plymouthplus.co.uk/tag/devon-and-somerset-fire-and-rescue-service/) were seen gaining access to a residential property in West Hoe so [paramedics](https://www.plymouthplus.co.uk/tag/south-western-ambulance-service/) could respond to the serious medical emergency.

Despite the best efforts of emergency services, the person was sadly pronounced deceased.
