Emergency services have descended on Second Avenue in Camels Head this afternoon following a serious incident. Plymouth Plus understands that multiple ambulance crews were called to the scene. One person has since been rushed to hospital for treatment.
It is believed that The Devon Air Ambulance was also launched from its base at Exeter Airport in response to the 999 call. However, it was stood down before arriving at the scene.
Police units are also present in the area, and a cordon has been erected. We have contacted Devon and Cornwall Police and the South Western Ambulance Service Foundation Trust (SWASFT) for comment.
