A motorcyclist has been seriously injured following a late-night collision involving a car on Union Street in Plymouth.
Emergency services were called at 12.50am on Monday 9 June following reports of a two-vehicle crash. The incident took place near the Octagon roundabout and involved a motorcycle and a car.

Ambulance crews attended and treated two casualties at the scene. Police confirmed the male motorcyclist suffered a serious leg injury and was taken to Derriford Hospital.
Road closures were put in place while emergency services dealt with the incident but were lifted later in the morning once the area was made safe.

A woman was initially arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of drink or drugs but was de-arrested at the scene.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police told Plymouth Plus:
"Police called at 12.50am, 9 June, following a two vehicle collision on Union Street in Plymouth.
"The incident involved a motorcycle and a car.
"Ambulance also attended.
"There were two casualties.
"The male motorcyclist sustained a serious leg injury and was taken to Derriford Hospital.
"Road closures were put in place but have since been lifted
"A woman was initially arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of drink or drugs but de-arrested at the scene."

The crash caused disruption near the A374 Octagon roundabout at Martin Street, close to Plymouth Pavilions. The road was cleared around 6.30am.
