Fourteen [Reform UK](https://www.plymouthplus.co.uk/tag/reform-uk/) and two Green Party councillors joined two re-elected [Labour](https://www.plymouthplus.co.uk/tag/labour/) councillors as they formally became members of Plymouth City Council following [last week’s local elections](https://www.plymouthplus.co.uk/plymouth-election-results-in-full-as-reform-wins-14-seats/). The new councillors took part in training today, including a mock council meeting to help them understand the chamber's ceremonial procedures. As part of the formal process, councillors were required to read aloud and sign an undertaking before taking up their roles.
