A police pursuit through residential streets in Plymouth ended safely this afternoon after the driver of a BMW Z4 failed to stop for officers.
Traffic officers were supported by armed police and a dog unit as the chase moved through parts of the city before coming to a halt on Wolseley Road in St Budeaux.
A police dog team searched nearby streets and green space in an effort to locate evidence, while armed officers were seen removing suspected drug paraphernalia from the BMW and placing items into evidence bags.
The vehicle was later seized and taken away by a recovery truck. At this stage it is not known whether any arrests have been made.
