Emergency services responded to a ‘concern for welfare’ incident on Thursday evening, 18 December.

Police, paramedics and HM Coastguard were called after concerns for the welfare of a man on Plymouth Hoe.

Thankfully, the man was brought to safety and left in the care of the South Western Ambulance Service.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said:

"We were called at 8.45pm on Thursday 19 December to assist Coastguard colleagues with an incident at Hoe Road, Plymouth.
"The ambulance service was also in attendance."
