# Quick thinking driver helps save woman on Plymouth bridge

A woman has been brought to safety from the wrong side of an overbridge in Plymouth this morning.

A passing motorist stopped after spotting the woman on the wrong side of the bridge on [Honicknowle](https://www.plymouthplus.co.uk/tag/honicknowle/) Lane and raised the alarm.

Emergency services arrived quickly and engaged with the woman at the scene. 

After a short time, she was safely brought back to the correct side of the bridge.
