A major incident was declared in Plymouth after the discovery of an unexploded wartime bomb.

Police were called to Flamborough Road in [Southway](https://www.plymouthplus.co.uk/tag/southway/) at around 2.30pm on Wednesday (29 April) after the device was found on a building site.
