Robbery probe after man assaulted and phone stolen in Plymouth

Police are investigating a robbery in Plympton after a man was assaulted and had his phone stolen.

Officers were called shortly after 6pm on Tuesday, 24 February, following a report of a robbery in Rashleigh Avenue.

It was reported that three suspects, described as two males and a female, approached the victim’s vehicle and assaulted him before leaving the area.

The victim’s phone was taken during the incident, and he was left suffering head injuries requiring medical treatment.

Police say enquiries to locate the suspects remain ongoing.
