A serious collision closed Powisland Drive in Plymouth in both directions this evening, with multiple emergency services at the scene.

Plymouth man dies after crashing into parked car
An 82-year-old Plymouth man died after a car hit a parked vehicle on Powisland Drive. Police say he suffered a medical episode.

More than four police vehicles, including an armed response unit, alongside at numerous ambulances attended.
Plymouth Plus understands that a red Ford Puma was involved the collision after the driver suffered a medical episode.
Traffic was brought to a standstill while officers and paramedics worked in the area. The road was reopened at approximately 8pm.
Devon and Cornwall Police has been contacted for comment.
