The Cornwall Air Ambulance landed in the Cornish seaside village of Seaton this afternoon after a man became critically unwell.
Alongside the flying medics, two ambulances, an operations officer and a tri-service safety officer also responded to the emergency.
The critically unwell man was flown to Derriford Hospital. A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) told Plymouth Plus:
“We were called at 13:04hrs on Friday 10 October to a medical incident near Seaton.
"We sent two double-crewed land ambulances, an air ambulance, and an operations officer to the scene.
"We conveyed one patient by air ambulance to Derriford Hospital.”
