# Man rushed to hospital after serious medical emergency outside Plymouth pub

A man has been taken to hospital after a serious medical emergency outside a busy Plymouth pub.

At least two ambulances, two police cars, and a [Devon Air Ambulance](https://www.plymouthplus.co.uk/tag/devon-air-ambulance/) response car responded this afternoon. 

It is understood that the man became critically unwell outside Walkabout on [Union Street](https://www.plymouthplus.co.uk/tag/union-street/).
