A serious crash closed the A38 towards Plymouth last night after a two vehicle collision.
The dual carriageway was closed in the eastbound direction after a crash at Lower Clicker near Liskeard.
Firefighters freed the casualties from the vehicles so that paramedics could treat them.
Flying medics from The Cornwall Air Ambulance were also sent to the scene.
The crash involved two vehicles and the crash barrier. A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police told Plymouth Plus:
"We were called at 9.30pm last night [2 December] to the A38 at Lower Clicker, following a report of a collision involving two vehicles and the crash barrier.
"The road was closed while emergency service attended and three people were checked by paramedics – they sustained injuries which were treated as serious but not life-threatening or changing.
"The cars were recovered and the road cleared shortly after midnight."
