# Three Royal Navy crew killed in helicopter crash during  training exercise in Devon

Three Royal Navy service personnel have sadly died after a Merlin helicopter crashed during a training exercise in Devon.

Emergency services were called to Sourton Down, near Okehampton, at around 3.45am on Wednesday (3 June), following reports of the crash.
