# Tragedy as person found dead at Plymouth flat

A person was tragically found dead inside a flat in Plymouth this morning (2 September).

The ambulance service was called following the discovery on Ebrington Street in [Plymouth City Centre](https://www.plymouthplus.co.uk/tag/plymouth-city-centre/).

Sadly, the person was confirmed deceased at the scene by the [South Western Ambulance Service](https://www.plymouthplus.co.uk/tag/south-western-ambulance-service/).

Officers from [Devon and Cornwall Police](https://www.plymouthplus.co.uk/tag/devon-and-cornwall-police/) attended and conducted an investigation into the death.

The death is not believed to be suspicious, and a file will be prepared for HM Coroner.
